December to Remember
Every day between Dec. 3 and Dec. 21,
the Ambassadors are tossing alittle holiday fun into the classroom!
Oh, and of course there are prizes!
Check out a calendar (outside the library/on most doors). Here's week one:
Dec. 3 - Spirit Day - wear your school colors - Blue and Orange!
Dec. 4 - Pajama Day - no teddies or boxers!
Dec. 5 - Dress for Success Day
Dec. 6 - Crazy Hair/Hat Day
Dec. 7 - Neon Day.
You will receive a raffle ticket for every class you attend
You will receive a raffle ticket for participating in the dress up
You will receive a raffle ticket for perfect attendance for the week.
On Dec. 26 (or 27) - we will draw for a ..... TV (detail to follow)

New Tutoring Schedule

Starting next week (Nov. 12), there will an adjustment to the tutoring schedule.

GED Math tutoring will be:
Monday - 5-6 pm

Tuesday - 12-1 pm

Tuesday - 4-5 pm

General walk-in tutoring for November/December will be:

12-1 pm - Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
5-6 pm - Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Dress for Success and ATB news!
Wednesday, Nov. 7 is a busy day for us here at LVC. For all students tomorrow is Dress for Success day. Put on your interview best and stop by Career Services. They will give you feedback and an Extra credit pass, which you can use in any of your classes for a little extra credit.
Also for all ATB students (started school without a GED or HS diploma), LVC is having a lunch meeting at 12:00 p.m. and a dinner meeting at 5:00 pm. Attendance is required! See me (Mrs. T) is you have any scheduling conflicts.
